Exploring New Flavor

I always see people use balsamic to mix salad or other cooking
so I bought one bottle to use it for cooking.
Mostly I make sure I know the taste of the ingredients b4 I use them for cooking,
so as usual, I tasted the balsamic vinegar.
Surprisingly, the Balsamic Vinegar tastes like....Chinese Black vinegar....haha

Balsamic vinegar is an aged reduction of white sweet grapes (Trebbiano for red and Spergola for white sauvignon) that are boiled to a syrup. The grapes are cooked very slowly in copper cauldrons over an open flame until the water content is reduced by over 50%. The resulting "must" is placed into wooden barrels and an older balsamic vinegar is added to assist in the acetification. Each year the vinegar is transferred to different wood barrels so that the vinegar can obtain some of the flavors of the different woods. The only approved woods are oak, cherry, chestnut, mulberry, a cacia, juniper, and ash. The age of the vinegar is divided into young – from 3 to 5 years maturation; middle aged 6 to 12 years and the highly prized very old which is at least 12 years and up to 150 years old. It can be cost up to $500 per bottle.

Successful Losing Weight

Yah, I didnt make any mistake with the result...coz the only goal was scored by a Paraguay player.
The match was boring...Gerrard always missed the goal, n shot really wide away one... Santa Cruz disapeared....The worst thing was that .....NO Crouch's ROBOT DANCE!!!!, so dispointed.
England Sucks~~
Sweden is the best~

Banana Cake 香蕉蛋糕





Yeah~ Today I finally tried to make my 1st ever CAKE in my Life~
Its really fun and taste pretty nice, so i wanna show u my MASTERPIECE~
I learned it from a recipe online. To make the cake is not very hard, but it takes a little bit of work.

Ingredients:
Unsalted Butter150g
Sugr120g
Honey 10g
Egg x3 (medium or large & beaten)
Cake Flour 160g
Baking Powder 5g
Milk 20g
Walnit 70g (Crushed)
Banana x2 (large ones) mash them
then mix the mashed banana with 1tbsp butter & 1tbsp sugar
Lemon juice 8 g

Procudure:
1. Mash the Bananas, mix the mashed banana with 1tbsp butter & 1tbsp sugar
2. Cook the mixture in a pan until it turns darker color, mix the lemon juice in, then cool it down
3. Mix the unsalted butter, honey and sugar, then beat the misture until it turns milky
4. Add the eggs, a bit at one time, mix well, then add again
5. Add the cake flour, baking powder, and milk, then mix it well
6. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan, fill it until 2/5 of the loaf pan volume
7. Put the mashed banana and crushed walnuts in
8. Pour the rest of the mixture in , and then mix everything well
9. Pre-heat the oven to 160'C/ 320'F
10. Bake for 40-45 Minutes
11. And its Done~ n Watch out for your hands, Its HOT~

咁大個仔第一次整蛋糕, 好開心好正 呀~

材料:
無鹽牛油150g
糖120g
蜜糖10g
蛋3個 (中或大)
低筋粉160gCake Flour
發粉5gBaking Powder
牛奶20g
合桃70g
香蕉2條 (大) + 1湯匙牛油 + 1湯匙糖
檸檬汁8g

做法:
1. 香蕉用叉子搗碎, 加入牛油與糖各1湯糖, 放入鑊中炒至變深色, 關火後加入檸檬汁, 攪勻放涼備用
2. 預熱焗爐160'C 320'F
3. 把已在室溫放軟之牛油, 加入糖及蜜糖, 打至奶白色, 分數次加入已打散的蛋, 每加1次必需打勻才可再加另1次
4. 篩入低筋粉及發粉入3中, 再加入牛奶, 改用刮刀拌勻
5. 合桃壓碎, 加入香蕉中, 攪勻
6. 將4之麵糊倒入模中至2/5滿, 舖上香蕉合桃, 再加入其餘麵糊至4/5滿, 刮平表面, 放入焗爐焗約40-45分鐘即成 蛋榚放涼後可隨意篩上糖粉裝飾.

Bake Pork Chop Rice 焗豬排飯

Bake Pork Chop Rice
Ingredients:
-Pork chop: 4 pieces
-to marinate:1 tbsp sugar, 1tsp salt, 1tsp black pepper, and 2 tbsp ketchup & 1tsp cornstarch
-Fried rice: about 3 bowl of rice, 1/2 bow of ketchup, frozen vegi, and onion, and of coz eggs....
-Sauce:Sauce: 1 can of tomato soup(284ml), 1/2 can of water, 1/4 can of ketchup
(use the can to measure)
Other: mozzarella cheese , 1 large tomato(slice it)

Procedure:
1.To Marinate
-Hammer the pork chops in order to soften it
-Marinate the pork chops with 1 tbsp sugar, 1tsp salt, 1tsp black pepper, and 2 tbsp ketchup & 1tsp cornstarch
2.Fry the Pork Chops
- until they are cooked
3. Cook the fried rice
4. Prepare an ovenable pan
5. Put the fried rice at the bottom, then some tomato,
-then lay the pork chops
6.After that, Put the sauce & mozzarella cheese on top
7. Pre- heat the oven to 250'C/475'F
8.Bake it for 20 mins
9 n its DONE!!

焗豬排飯

豬排4快
醃料:1湯匙糖, 1茶匙鹽, 1茶匙黑椒, 2湯匙茄汁
炒飯料: 雜豆, 洋蔥, 冷飯3碗, 茄汁半碗
汁:蕃茄湯一罐(284ml), 水半罐, 1/4 罐茄汁 (用罐量)
其他:蕃茄一個切片, 碎mozzarella芝士

1.先把豬排醃了, 之後把豬排煎熟﹐
2. 炒飯
3.將炒飯放在焗盤內﹐上面放上一片片的豬排和蕃茄﹐
4.最後加入個汁和一些碎mozzarella芝士
5.跟著把它放入預熱至~250C/475F的焗爐裡﹐焗大約20分鐘便成

Michelin Guides

The Michelin Guide is a series of annual guide books for hotel and restuarant over a dozen countries since 1900. This Guide has two main series the RED Guide and the GREEN guide, and there are different version of each guide in different countries. The Guides are authritative because they use anonymous inspections and does not charge for entries, unlike some restaurant and hotel guides which are in effect little more than advertising. Michelin claims to re-visit establishments on average once every eighteen months in order to keep ratings up to date.

The Red Guide is the oldest and the best known European hotel and restaurant guide, which awards the famous Michelin stars.
The guide awards one to three stars to a small number of restaurants of outstanding quality. Stars are awarded sparingly; for instance, in the UK and Ireland 2004 guide, out of 5,500 entries, there are 98 with one star ("a very good restaurant in its category"), 11 with two stars ("excellent cooking, worth a detour"), and only 3 with three stars ("exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey"). Michelin stars are taken very seriously in the restaurant business, where the addition or loss of a star can mean a difference in turnover of millions of euro. Some three-star restaurants are able to charge hundreds of euro for a meal on the strength of their reputation.

The Green Guide is for travel and tourism. They include background information and an alphabetical section describing points of interest. Like the Red Guide, they use a three-star system for recommending sights: three stars, "worth the trip"; two stars, "worth a detour"; one star, "interesting".

I wanta buy the Canada Green Guide~ I think it would be great to go those restaurants introduced in the guide.

Won Lotto Again 又中獎啦~

Recall that last month me n my lo poh, Ivy , bought a lotto ticket coz just for fun....
Then, so nice, we won $10 n a free ticket. I didnt think we would win again, so I didnt pay much attention on it.(Actually, everytime i also don't check until quit a while after the lotto draw)
n thats y i lost my ticket, haha, but today when i was taking my clothes to laundry, I found the ticket underneath all the dirty clothes, so happy. Then I checked the ticket when I did groceries in superstore. Yeah, we won $10 again.
It sounds stupid right, but everytime a small thing also make yourself happy can make you live Happily everyday.
p.s. treat you guys ice-cream when you guys come back^o^

上個月, 我同老婆仔因為無聊去買六合彩.之後好好彩贏o左十蚊同一張免費飛.
咁我從來都無贏過六合彩ka ma, 咁心諗邊有可能再一連贏兩次, 我就無乜留意張飛
之後就連張飛去o左邊都唔記得lor. 但係今日係我洗衫果陣, 我係堆烏糟衫到見到張飛, 好開心呀kakaka. 剛好我又要去買o野食, 咁我咪去check張飛lor. 嘩真係咁好彩wow, 又中十蚊~~haha
你地可能覺我我好傻, 因為十蚊而開心. 但係咪解唔可以每日都用一d小事而令自己每日開心d.
