Wanta Taste My Buns?

I tried to cook a tough food today, and it's Croissant~~
I followed the steps in the recipe, but I don't really know wat kind of butter they use that can be flattened into an 8in x 8 in sheet.. then i just used normal butter n brushed on the dough..
So at the end....I got somethings look like Croissants.......but inside were like normal buns.....
And Now I become an imitation producer who make fake crossiants.....

Eating not Enough Won't Make U Lose Weight Faster

While you'll run across an occasional expert who recommend extremely low-calorie diets for weight loss with hypothyroidism, the majority of experts believe you may not be eating enough to maintain your metabolism. Dropping calories too low can lower your metabolism and send your body into "hoard" mode -- a process which thyroid patients are particularly susceptible to and which can offset weight loss efforts and keep you from success at your diet.

Personally, when I want to lose weight, going on a 1200 calorie or less per day diet is a sure-fire way to ensure that I don't lose a pound. And if you're dieting your heart out, and not getting anywhere, the problem may not be that you're eating too much -- you may be eating too little, and not in the right balance.

To calculate how many calories you need:
  1. Dvide your current weight in pounds by 2.2, in order to convert your weight to kilograms.
  2. Multiply you weight in kilograms by 30. (30 is the number of calories you need per pound of body weight.)
So, if you are 160 pounds, you divide 160 by 2.2, which equals 73 kilograms.

Multiply 73 kilograms by 30, which equals 2190, which would be how many calories you theoretically need to maintain your current weight of 160.

Subtract 200 calories for your thyroid condition, an estimate to reflect the reduction in your metabolism and calorie requirements.

1990 calories is now the estimated calorie requirements for you as a thyroid patient to maintain a weight of 160 pounds.

To lose weight, you need to cut your calorie requirements by 5 calories per kilogram, so that means you multiply your current weight in kilograms by 25 instead of 30.

So, in our example above, if you are 160 pounds, you divide 160 by 2.2, which equals 73 kilograms.

Multiply 73 kilograms by 25, which equals 1825, which would be how many calories you theoretically need to lose about a pound every ten days, at 3500 calories per pound).

Again, subtract 200 calories to account for your thyroid condition.

1625 calories is now the estimated calorie requirements for you as a thyroid patient to lose weight at a safe rate.

Also, most of the effective weight loss programs for thyroid patients also focus on breaking up those calories into multiple "mini-meals" per day.

Making Pizza~~

I made my 1st pizzas in my life today....I made everything myself, from the pizza crust to tomato paste to topping. hmm....i didnt actually made the topings....i only used canned tuna, n swiss cheese...these r the stuffs i found at home tht can be used as toppings. But i think i fail to make the pizza.......not really fail....at least its still taste good...It's just the crust was too thick.... i think it's becoz the time i knead the pizza dough not long enough, n i put too much water. coz when i stretched the dough into pizza shape tht time, the dough was still wet. For the sauce n topping, i think i did ok. I made the tomato paste myself. I didn't use the canned ones.

Ingredients:
Pizza Dough:
7g yest
1tsp sugar
1cup hand-hot water
350g bread flour
1tsp salt
1tbsp olive oil

Tomato paste:
4 tomatos
1/4 of an red onion
1/2 tsb garlic ( chopped)

Topping:
1 can of tuna
p.s. add pineapple also if u like

Procedure
1.Place the yest n sugar in a bowl n mix with 50ml water. Leave the yest mixture in a warm place for 25mins or until frothy.

2.Mix the flour w/ the salt and make a well at the centre. Add the oil, the yest mixture adn the remaining water. Mix everythign n form a dough.

3.Turn the dough out on to a floured surface and knead for 4-5 minutes or until smooth.

4. return the dough to the bowl, cover w/ plastic wrap and leave to rise for 30mins.

5.Knead the dough for 2 mins. Stretch the dough w/ your hands, then place it on an oiled baking tray. Push out the edges until even and to the shape u want. The dough should be no more than 1/4 inches thick because it will rise during cooking.

6. To make the tomato paste, bake the tomato under 500'F for 5 mins
Ripe off the seeds and the rind
, then chop into find grains

7. Saute the onion, garlic, and tomato w/ salt, pepper, and butter

7. Spread the tomato paste and toppings evenly over the pizza base. Top with Swiss cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200'C / 400'F for 20- 25mins.
Then its done.
